Overview: The Open House of Essanay Studios at St. Augustine College will be centered in Studio A – “The Charlie Chaplin” Hall. A brief digital presentation will give an overview of the restoration and reuse project followed by the Essanay film “His New Job” with Charlie Chaplin and Ben Turpin and debut of Gloria Swanson will be shown. The presentations will begin on the half hour. Popcorn, iced tea and water will be served.
